At Arbour Creek Care Centre our dietary staff takes pride in preparing nutritious and delicious meals and snacks. We recognize that food is one of the most important parts of our resident’s lives and we celebrate the cultural diversity in our homes by preparing foods that are familiar to them whenever possible.
Residents receive three (3) home-cooked meals each day as well as three (3) nourishments featuring snacks and refreshments between meals.
Our Menu Development Team, composed of our Red Seal Chefs, Cooks, Food Service Manager, Registered Dietitians, Residents’ Council and Programs Department along with our Suppliers, actively works to ensure our culinary services provide high quality, flavourful and nutritious meals that residents love to eat.
Our on-site Registered Dietitians evaluate residents’ nutritional status and plan their nutrition care. They assist in the development of special meals and snacks or make recommendations for supplements, anything that is needed to meet an individual resident’s requirements.
